Cardinal Spellman High School welcomed Chris Farley, a 25-time marathon veteran and founding partner of Relay Goods. Relay Goods is a sneaker company that teams up with brands to build a responsible shopping alternative. HOKA donated shoes to Relay Goods to give back to high school students.

Partnering with Relay Goods are Matthew Centrowitz and John Lovett, who previously worked with our Athletic Director Marianne Reilly at Manhattan College. Matt was the Director of their Track and Field program, and John was his assistant coach. It is through this relationship that Cardinal Spellman was contacted and an event was set up for each member of our Track and Field team to get a pair of free HOKA sneakers and spikes!

It is with great enthusiasm that we share the news of Cardinal Spellman High School’s newly appointed Athletic Director, Marianne Reilly.

As the first female athletic director for the department, Reilly led facility renovations and projects impacting many sports, including the opening of the Gaelic Park Athletic Center including state-of-the-art training and locker rooms, and

significant enhancements to Draddy Gymnasium, the home to the Jasper basketball, track and volleyball programs. Under her leadership, Reilly also oversaw a critical strategic plan for the department and helped the College adjust to the ever-changing landscape and rules of Division I college athletics, and acknowledged the many academic achievements of the student-athletes.Prior to Manhattan, she spent three decades at Fordham University, where she began her career as an assistant in facility management, recreation, and club sports. She was elevated to Senior Associate Director of Athletics to accompany her responsibilities as the Senior Woman Administrator for the Rams’ athletics department. At Fordham, Reilly served on the leadership team of the athletics department and supervised NCAA compliance, academic eligibility, and athletic training while also serving as a sport administrator for a number of varsity programs. She mentored coaches, administrators, and student-athletes and oversaw the successful development of many varsity programs.Marianne and her husband, Tom Delaney '66, a graduate of Spellman High School, reside in Tuckahoe, New York.We welcome Marianne to the Pilot community and look forward to her success with our program!
